Leah Stiles is a retired U.S. Navy Senior Chief, now leading a powerful mission as the Founder and CEO of SEA WAVES—the only nonprofit dedicated to supporting service members, veterans, and military families affected by eating disorders.
The organization provides education, advocacy, and access to trauma-informed resources through its two signature programs: the MEDAL Training (Military Eating Disorder Awareness & Literacy) and The Lighthouse Project, a suicide prevention and community outreach initiative focused on self-care and peer connection.
SEA WAVES is Pentagon-approved and listed in both Military OneSource and the Wounded Warrior Project databases. Under Leah’s leadership, it’s become a growing voice in the national conversation on military mental health, dedicated to breaking stigma, building partnerships, and creating meaningful impact.
