  • About

Women in the Arts Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit, charitable, educational organization since 2007. Through our Community School of the Arts (CSA) program, we teach art classes in the spring, summer, and fall semesters to children in grades PK-12, and adults. The classes are held at church and local library locations. Our fundraising efforts make it possible to offer these tuition-free, including supplies.

''Celebrating the Genius of Women'' is Women in the Arts' annual competition and exhibition held at the Orlando Public Library. This cash-awards event brings local finalists, out of state, and international artists to public recognition of their talent and work in the Arts.

Other programs include ''CSA on Tour'' a rotating student art exhibition, ''CSA at the Museum'' for teens and young adults at the Mennello Museum of American Art, scholarships, public presentations, internships, volunteer work, mentoring, and expansion of art knowledge, appreciation, and education.
